During this visit, Jan-Olof Jacke, Director General of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, stated that the upcoming Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and the European Union (EU) sends a clear message to the world: trade is a vital part of the future, not just a relic of the past. He emphasized that this agreement will lay a strong foundation for both India and the EU, but several essential steps must be taken to fully reap its benefits.
