New Delhi, April 7: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have claimed significant military actions in southern Lebanon and Iran. In southern Lebanon, the IDF discovered underground facilities, uncovering a cache of weapons and explosive devices.
In Iran, their attacks targeted the country’s two largest petrochemical complexes, severely disrupting petrochemical export capabilities and impacting the missile manufacturing industry.
The IDF stated on the social media platform ‘X’, “IDF soldiers in southern Lebanon uncovered underground hideouts, retrieving military waste, RPG rockets, explosive devices, and a flag of the UNHCR.”
Additionally, soldiers found multiple weapons stockpiles, including AK-47 rifles, RPG launchers, and sniper rifles. The IDF claimed that Iran’s largest petrochemical complex, responsible for producing and exporting essential chemical materials for explosives, has been destroyed. This attack marks the targeting of Iran’s two largest petrochemical complexes, crippling over 85% of Iran’s petrochemical export capacity.
The damage to this infrastructure will hinder the regime’s ability to produce crucial components for its missile industry, which aims to target Israel and other countries in the Middle East.
Previously, the Israeli Prime Minister also stated on the social media platform ‘X’, “We have destroyed Iran’s largest petrochemical plant. This means we are systematically dismantling the IRGC’s ‘money machine.’ We are destroying factories, eliminating operatives, and continuously targeting their senior officials.”
The IDF reported that Tehran has three airports—Behram, Mehrabad, and Azmayesh—housing various air resources, including planes and helicopters, as well as additional military infrastructure.
Mehrabad Airport was used by the IRGC forces and served as a central hub for providing weapons and financial support to the regime’s fighters in the Middle East.
