Humayun Kabir Claims No Clear Majority for BJP or TMC in Bengal Elections

Hijol, April 21: Election activities are intensifying in the Hijol area of West Bengal. Humayun Kabir, founder and candidate of the Aam Janata Party (AJP), has accused the central government of making arbitrary decisions.

Kabir criticized the lack of progress on the Women’s Reservation Bill, which did not pass in the Lok Sabha. He noted that Sonia Gandhi had previously attempted to advance this initiative but was unsuccessful. He believes that substantial changes can only occur with the emergence of a government with a strong majority in the future.

Targeting the current central government, Kabir alleged that it is making unilateral decisions and attempting to alter the Constitution to establish a Hindu nation. However, he expressed confidence that such efforts would not succeed.

Regarding the upcoming election results, Kabir made a bold prediction. He stated that on May 4, when the votes are counted, no party will reach a majority. He believes that neither the BJP nor the Trinamool Congress (TMC) will secure a clear majority, potentially leading to new political dynamics in the state.

Kabir also leveled serious allegations against TMC leaders Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee, claiming they are deeply involved in corruption. He suggested that it is better to speak less about them.

Additionally, Kabir clarified his political alliances, stating that he has supported Asaduddin Owaisi’s party in two assembly seats and is campaigning in favor of the alliance. He accused a leader named Imran Solanki of misleading Owaisi about him, but he remains committed to his promises and is focused on defeating the TMC.
