New Delhi, April 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Babu Jagjivan Ram on his birth anniversary, honoring the former Deputy Prime Minister for dedicating his life to equality and social justice.
In a post on the social media platform X, PM Modi wrote, “I pay my heartfelt respects to former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram on his birth anniversary. He devoted his life to equality and social justice. His invaluable contributions to the nation will always be remembered.”
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also took to X, stating, “On the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter, prominent leader, and former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram, I offer my deepest respects. His entire life was dedicated to building social harmony, equal opportunities, and a just system. Babu Jagjivan Ram fulfilled every responsibility with integrity, foresight, and a focus on national interest. His roles in the national movement and independent India remain inspiring.”
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh expressed his tribute on X, saying, “I pay my respects to former Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram on his birth anniversary. Social justice and the defense of India were his top priorities. His contributions to the nation’s development and security will always be remembered.”
Former BJP President and Union Minister JP Nadda wrote, “I respectfully pay tribute to Babu Jagjivan Ram on his birth anniversary.
