Beijing, April 25: He Lifeng, a member of the CPC Central Committee’s Politburo and Vice Premier of the State Council, met with Stephen Schwarzman, Chairman and CEO of the Blackstone Group, on April 23 at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
He noted that China’s economy has made a strong start in the first quarter of this year, showcasing resilience and vitality.
According to He Lifeng, China will continue to expand high-level openness and promote high-quality development. The country’s vast market will offer the world more opportunities and choices. He welcomed more foreign-invested enterprises, including the Blackstone Group, to deepen cooperation with China for mutual benefits and advantageous outcomes.
Stephen Schwarzman expressed that the Blackstone Group places significant emphasis on collaboration with China. He aims to continue expanding operations in China and contribute to enhancing economic and trade cooperation between the United States and China.
