
New Delhi, February 28: A shocking incident of gunfire occurred in the Kasna police jurisdiction of Greater Noida, creating a wave of panic among local residents.
According to Sudhir Kumar, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police for Greater Noida, the police received a call through Dial 112 reporting that a group of boys had opened fire on an individual. The police quickly arrived at the scene in the Salempur village area, but the assailants had already fled after executing their attack.
Interviews with the victim’s family and local residents revealed that one boy, along with his associates, had targeted an individual in the shooting. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident. The police are currently investigating the case and searching for the culprits.
ADCP Sudhir Kumar confirmed that an FIR has been filed regarding the incident. The entire shooting was captured on CCTV, which shows four assailants on two motorcycles opening fire at the victim’s home in broad daylight.
The police are utilizing the CCTV footage to identify and locate the suspects. Thankfully, no one was harmed during this alarming event. The incident took place in Salempur village, and initial reports suggest that it stemmed from a personal feud.
ADCP Kumar explained that a local man’s brother-in-law, who resides with his sister, had a dispute with a member of the victim’s family a few days prior. This altercation appears to have led to the brazen shooting incident.
