
Gandhinagar, March 23: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will preside over the state-level ‘Swagat’ program on March 25, 2026. This event is part of the monthly online grievance redressal initiative, which aims to address citizens’ concerns through technology.
The ‘Swagat’ program, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been held since 2003 on the fourth Thursday of each month. However, due to the public holiday for Ram Navami on March 26, this month’s event will take place on Wednesday, March 25.
Citizens can submit their applications in person at the Chief Minister’s Public Relations Unit, Swarnim Sankul-2, Gandhinagar, between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM on March 25. The Chief Minister will personally attend the program in the afternoon to listen to the citizens’ issues.
Additionally, CM Bhupendra Patel expressed his joy on social media platform ‘X’ after attending the first convocation ceremony at Deakin University’s GIFT City campus. He described this milestone as a symbol of the successful journey of India’s first international branch campus, showcasing Gujarat’s emergence as a global platform for world-class education.
He attributed this achievement to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, highlighting the revolutionary approach to education that has transformed India into a global knowledge hub. GIFT City is rapidly evolving into a vibrant ecosystem where finance, technology, and quality education converge.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the collaboration between Gujarat and Australia extends beyond degrees. It opens new avenues for innovation and global partnerships, benefiting students in the years to come. He congratulated all graduates and wished them a bright future.
