Gandhinagar, May 31: A mega toy collection event took place on Sunday at the Arohi Twins Bungalow in the Bopal-Ghuma area of Ahmedabad, under the “Ramsha Balak, Khelesha Balak” (Playing Child, Flourishing Child) campaign. This initiative was launched in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
Inspired by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, the campaign connects various segments of society through a humanitarian effort. Sharing toys among children fosters social sentiment, human values, and family bonds.
During the event, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel emphasized the importance of play and toys in a child’s holistic development. He stated that the initiative to donate used and recently unused toys from well-off families to underprivileged children is not just an act of charity. It aims to instill empathy, compassion, and the spirit of sharing in future generations.
CM Patel urged citizens to enthusiastically participate in this campaign by donating as many toys as possible, contributing to the smiles of needy children.
Additionally, the Chief Minister planted trees during the event, promoting environmental conservation. The program saw the presence of prominent figures such as Vinod Bhai Patel and Darshan Bhai Patel, along with a large gathering of citizens and activists.
