Gruesome Murder of 6-Year-Old in New Delhi, Suspect Arrested

New Delhi, March 7: A shocking incident has emerged from Ranhoula in outer Delhi, where a six-year-old boy was brutally murdered. The boy’s bloodied body was discovered in an under-construction building on Thursday. Following a complaint from the family, the Delhi police have arrested a suspect in connection with the case.

According to police reports, the child has been identified as Lavkush, a resident of Mangla Bazaar in Ranhoula. He lived with his mother, Sarita Devi, father, Pachhu Mahto, and two siblings. His father works as a laborer.

The Ranhoula police received information around noon on Thursday about Lavkush’s body being found in a bloodied state at the construction site. Upon arrival, the police secured the body and sent it to the mortuary at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital for an autopsy. A crime and forensic team was also dispatched to gather evidence, recovering a rod and a knife from the scene. Subsequently, a murder case was registered, and an investigation commenced.

The family has alleged that the child’s mother had illicit relationships, leading to conflicts at home. They suspect her involvement in the murder. Police believe the boy may have been killed elsewhere and his body dumped at the site.

The family claims that since the discovery of the body, Sarita Devi has been missing. Investigations revealed that Lavkush was last seen with his mother around 4:30 PM on Tuesday, after which they both did not return. Police officials stated that teams have been dispatched to search for the mother, both within Delhi and in Bihar.
