
Bawana, September 13 (Daily Kiran) : A ground-breaking ceremony for Ram Leela was held in Bawana, New Delhi, on Sunday. The event saw participation from BJP MLA Ravinder Indraj Singh, national vice president Lal Singh Arya, and MCD Mayor Pravesh Wahi.
During the ceremony, Ravinder Indraj Singh remarked, “This ground-breaking is not just a ritual; it symbolizes the spirit of social harmony we learn from the Ramayana and Lord Ram. He was more than just a figure; he embodied ideal qualities. From the beginning, it was clear that he was divine, yet he lived a life just like any ordinary human. His conduct and values serve as a model for everyone and every family.”
Singh further highlighted the inclusivity of the event, stating, “Today’s ground-breaking ceremony brought together individuals from all walks of life, from the poorest to the wealthiest. Everyone present is a celebrity here because they are all devotees of Ram. Those who could not attend have also sent their best wishes.”
He referenced actor Arun Govil, known for portraying Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s epic series, noting that his depiction allowed people across the country to understand Lord Ram’s character and lifestyle. “Even today, when Arun Govil’s name is mentioned, many envision Lord Ram,” Singh added.
Singh emphasized the local significance of the Ram Leela event in Bawana, stating that such gatherings promote Sanatan culture and Indian traditions. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect with the Sanatan Sanskar family through these events.
Lal Singh Arya, the BJP national vice president, congratulated Singh for organizing such a grand Ram Leela. He expressed hope that the performance would bring new light into people’s lives and felt fortunate to participate in the ground-breaking.
MCD Mayor Pravesh Wahi also praised Singh, acknowledging the effort to unite the community in Bawana for this significant Ram Leela. He noted the exceptional talent displayed by artists and remarked on the intertwining of faith and politics, stating, “When religion is incorporated into politics, it sanctifies the process and enhances its essence.”
