Golden Opportunity for Investors: E-Auction of HILs 5.11 Acres in Delhi Begins

New Delhi, October 9 (Daily Kiran) : The National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC) has initiated an e-tender and e-auction process for the monetization of a significant freehold land parcel owned by HIL (India) Limited. This prime 5.11-acre site is located in the Najafgarh Industrial Area of New Delhi, specifically along Rohtak Road and Shivaji Marg.

In an official statement released on Friday, the NLMC announced that it is inviting eligible bidders to participate in the e-tender followed by the e-auction for this valuable property. This marks the third e-auction publicly announced by NLMC in the past two months, underscoring the government’s commitment to land monetization initiatives.

The land, measuring approximately 20,722.93 square meters, will be sold through a transparent and competitive electronic bidding process. The reserve price for the property has been set at ₹829.69 crore, requiring bidders to place bids with a minimum increase of ₹1 crore per acre. Interested parties must submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹16.60 crore to qualify for participation.

The monetization process will occur in two phases: first, the e-tender, followed by the e-auction, allowing qualified bidders to engage in a structured and transparent asset monetization procedure. Bidders must register and submit their technical bids along with the EMD by 2 PM on November 19. The technical bids will be opened at 4 PM on November 20, and a mock auction is scheduled for November 23. The date for the actual e-auction will be announced after the technical bids are opened.

To assist potential bidders and clarify the bidding process, a pre-bid meeting is set for November 3 at 4 PM in Room 309, Block-14, Public Enterprise Bhawan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

The sale will be conducted on an “as is, where is” basis, as outlined in the e-auction notification. The area of the land mentioned in the press statement is provisional and will be finalized through a joint survey with the successful bidder, as specified in the auction notification. The e-tender and e-auction will be managed through an e-tender platform, with RailTel Corporation of India Limited providing assistance for registration and electronic auction processes.

Bidders can access the Request for Proposal (RFP), detailed terms and conditions, eligibility requirements, registration information, and participation details through the designated e-auction portal. The official e-auction portal is nlmc.eauction.com, while NLMC’s website can be found at nlmc.dpe.gov.in.
