New Delhi, October 25 (Daily Kiran) — The downward trend in gold and silver prices continued in the domestic bullion market on Friday, with gold becoming cheaper for the sixth consecutive day. During today’s trading session, gold prices fell by ₹650 to ₹710 per 10 grams, while silver prices dropped by up to ₹4,000 per kilogram.
Following this decline, 24-carat gold is now being traded between ₹1,24,360 and ₹1,24,510 per 10 grams across major Indian bullion markets. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold is available in the range of ₹1,13,990 to ₹1,14,140 per 10 grams. Due to the fall in silver prices, the metal is currently selling at ₹1,54,900 per kilogram in Delhi’s bullion market.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹1,24,510 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is selling for ₹1,14,140 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the 24-carat rate stands at ₹1,24,360, and the 22-carat variety at ₹1,13,990 per 10 grams.
Similarly, in Ahmedabad, retail prices are ₹1,24,410 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and ₹1,14,040 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.
In Chennai and Kolkata, gold prices are trading at ₹1,24,360 per 10 grams for 24-carat and ₹1,13,990 per 10 grams for 22-carat.
Lucknow’s bullion market recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,24,510 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,14,140 per 10 grams, while Patna reported rates of ₹1,24,410 and ₹1,14,040 per 10 grams, respectively. In Jaipur, gold is being sold at ₹1,24,510 (24-carat) and ₹1,14,140 (22-carat).
A similar trend was observed in the southern states — in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold traded at ₹1,24,360 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,13,990 per 10 grams.
Market experts attribute the continuous fall in prices to weak global cues and a decline in demand in the local market amid global economic uncertainties.
