New Delhi, October 14 (Daily Kiran): The upward rally in gold and silver prices continued in the domestic bullion market on Monday, with both precious metals touching fresh record highs. Gold prices rose by ₹320 to ₹340 per 10 grams, while silver prices jumped sharply by up to ₹6,000 per kilogram.

Due to the surge, 24-carat gold was trading between ₹1,25,410 and ₹1,25,560 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold ranged from ₹1,14,960 to ₹1,15,110 per 10 grams across most major jewellery markets in the country. Silver also climbed to a new peak, trading at ₹1,85,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,25,560 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,15,110 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, gold traded at ₹1,25,410 (24-carat) and ₹1,14,960 (22-carat) per 10 grams. Ahmedabad reported retail prices of ₹1,25,460 (24-carat) and ₹1,15,010 (22-carat) per 10 grams.

Similarly, in Chennai and Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,25,410 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,14,960 per 10 grams. In Lucknow and Jaipur, gold touched ₹1,25,560 (24-carat) and ₹1,15,110 (22-carat) per 10 grams, while Patna recorded ₹1,25,460 and ₹1,15,010 respectively.

Bullion traders in southern and eastern markets such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar also reported strong gains, with 24-carat gold trading at ₹1,25,410 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,14,960 per 10 grams.

With the festive season approaching, market experts expect the strong momentum in gold and silver prices to continue in the coming days.
