New Delhi, August 13: The ongoing monsoon session of Parliament is marked by persistent disruptions. The opposition demands direct responses from Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the NEET paper leak, police actions against student protests in various states, and other pressing issues. Meanwhile, the ruling party accuses the opposition of fleeing the House to hide their mistakes, despite the government’s readiness for discussion. In this context, Union Minister Giriraj Singh has launched a sharp attack on the opposition.
Giriraj Singh targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, stating, “Rahul Gandhi behaves like a mischievous child from a village. Look at his face, his expressions, and his manner of speaking. One of our MPs rightly said he acts like a spoiled boy.”
He continued, “As the leader of the opposition, he claims, ‘I challenge you.’ What kind of challenge is this? The parliamentary system has its decorum. Will you compare yourself to Amit Shah? He has demonstrated how Articles 370 and 35A were abrogated and how the CAA was implemented. You seem to want terrorism to spread in the country. You are playing the role of an ‘urban Naxal.’ If you have the courage, speak according to the parliamentary system and listen to others. You behave like a hit-and-run.”
Attacking Rahul Gandhi further, he remarked, “Amit Shah has exposed his true nature. Rahul Gandhi lacks the courage to discuss NEET. When the issue of pellet guns is debated, NEET will also be discussed. This will lead to discussions about other states—Punjab, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Jharkhand. Therefore, he lacks the courage. Congress should be ashamed of itself.”
Giriraj Singh added, “Mr. Kharge, a senior leader, remains engaged in Rahul Gandhi’s sycophancy. He has witnessed two to three generations yet continues to flatter Rahul Gandhi. They will sink Congress and harm the parliamentary system.”
