
New Delhi, September 5 (Daily Kiran) : Patrick McGoldrick, the former Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Technologies, has sold shares worth approximately ₹165 crore through a block deal on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). This transaction reduces his stake in the company significantly.
On Friday, McGoldrick sold 2.1 million shares in four separate transactions, which accounts for a 0.51 percent stake in Tata Technologies. The shares were sold at an average price of ₹785 each, bringing the total value of the deal to ₹164.85 crore. Following this sale, McGoldrick’s ownership in the company has decreased from 1.13 percent to 0.62 percent.
Reports indicate that institutional investors, including ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, 360 One Asset Management, and Carnelian Asset Management & Advisors, acquired these shares.
McGoldrick retired from his position as CEO and MD of Tata Technologies in September 2014, after nearly two decades with the company.
On the BSE, Tata Technologies shares closed at ₹799.85, marking a decline of 0.59 percent. The stock has seen a 52-week high of ₹890.15 and a low of ₹507.50, reflecting a drop of over 2 percent in the past two years.
Additionally, the Pune-based firm reported a consolidated net profit of ₹204.17 crore for the March quarter, with operational revenue totaling ₹1,572.22 crore. However, the consolidated net profit for the fiscal year 2026 decreased to ₹546.59 crore, down from ₹676.95 crore in the previous fiscal year. The company also experienced an 11.5 percent decline in consolidated net profit quarter-on-quarter for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, reporting a profit of ₹181 crore compared to ₹204 crore in the January-March quarter.
