
Jaipur, September 1: Rikhab Chand Reel, a former councillor of the Kishangarh Municipal Council, passed away on Tuesday due to a heart attack, just one day after filing his nomination for the 2026 Rajasthan municipal elections. His sudden demise has left his family, supporters, and political colleagues in shock.
Rikhab Chand Reel previously represented Ward Number 37 of Kishangarh and was preparing to contest again in the upcoming elections. He was a well-known figure in local politics.
During his tenure, he was involved in various public welfare initiatives and built strong relationships with the local community.
After submitting his nomination papers, Reel had been actively meeting with his supporters to discuss his election campaign and strategies. His unexpected death has abruptly halted the election campaign in Ward Number 37.
According to officials, Reel complained of severe chest pain in the morning. His condition deteriorated rapidly, and he reportedly passed away before reaching the hospital.
