Former B’desh cricketer passes away

Dhaka, April 19 : Former Bangladesh fast bowler Samiur Rahman breathed his last at the age of 68 on Tuesday morning. Rahman was suffering from brain tumor, which was diagnosed in January earlier this year, ES cricinfo reported. He was part of Bangladesh’s first two ODIs in 1986. Following his playing career, Rahman served as an umpire and match referee. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
