Flights Canceled at Srinagar Airport Due to Operational Issues

Mumbai, April 18: Two flights operating from Srinagar Airport have been canceled due to operational reasons. The affected flights include Air India’s AI 1799/1810 (Delhi–Srinagar–Delhi) and SpiceJet’s SG-161 (Srinagar–Jammu–Delhi).

Passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines for rebooking, refunds, and further assistance before heading to the airport. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

In related news, operations at Pune Airport have resumed after a temporary closure. This followed an incident involving an Air Force aircraft, which caused the runway to be blocked.

According to the Air Force, a fighter jet experienced a malfunction with its undercarriage during landing around 10:25 PM on Friday, resulting in it becoming stuck on the runway. This technical issue led to a temporary halt in flight operations at the airport.

Additionally, on April 16, a SpiceJet aircraft collided with a stationary Akasa Air plane at Delhi Airport. Both aircraft sustained minor damage during the incident, which occurred as the SpiceJet flight was taxiing to its designated parking bay while the Akasa Air plane was preparing for takeoff to Hyderabad.
