Beijing, April 8: The first batch of imported goods for the 139th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, successfully entered China on Wednesday under the supervision of Guangzhou Customs.

This batch includes 137 items, such as household goods and kitchenware produced in Turkey, weighing approximately 18,000 kilograms. This marks the heaviest weight of any batch entering the Canton Fair’s history.

The current Canton Fair is set to take place in Guangzhou from April 15 to May 5, organized in three phases. The total exhibition area spans 1.55 million square meters, featuring 75,500 booths. Over 30,000 enterprises are expected to participate. Following this, products from countries like Egypt, South Korea, India, and Malaysia will arrive in Guangzhou sequentially.
