Ferhan Akhtars Concert Revives the Magic of Zinda After 12 Years

Ferhan Akhtars live concert brings the energy of Zinda to life, captivating audiences just as it did in 2013.

Mumbai, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : Ferhan Akhtar’s 2013 hit song “Zinda” from the film “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” continues to resonate with audiences, as demonstrated at his recent live concert in Mumbai. Thousands of fans joined him in singing the iconic track, filling the venue with electrifying energy.

The actor shared a video from the concert on Instagram, showcasing the audience belting out the song’s catchy hook while he harmonized with them. Akhtar described the experience as magical, stating, “That moment when a song transcends the stage and becomes the heartbeat of the entire arena feels like magic. It sends chills down my spine every time. It’s a crowd you can never forget.”

The video has garnered praise from fellow artists and friends in the industry, including Zoya Akhtar and Divyendu, who expressed their admiration in the comments.

“Zinda” is not just a film song; it has become an anthem for youth and fitness enthusiasts. Written by Prasoon Joshi and composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the powerful vocals of Siddharth Mahadevan have made it a staple in the playlists of gym-goers, athletes, and runners since its release.

“Bhaag Milkha Bhaag,” directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is a sports biopic that chronicles the life of legendary Indian athlete and Olympian Milkha Singh, a Commonwealth Games champion and two-time Asian Games 400-meter champion.

The film features Akhtar alongside actors like Art Malik, Divya Dutta, Pawan Malhotra, Yograj Singh, Prakash Raj, and Meesha Shafi, with Sonam Kapoor making a special appearance. It is inspired by Milkha Singh’s autobiography, “The Race of My Life,” and Singh famously sold the film rights for just one rupee, stipulating that a portion of the profits would go to his charitable trust.
