February 25 Panchang: Auspicious Siddhi Yoga and Rahukal Timing

New Delhi, February 24: In the Sanatan tradition, the Panchang is considered the most authentic and comprehensive system for tracking time. Unlike modern calendars and clocks, the Panchang is used to determine auspicious and inauspicious moments. It provides detailed information about the timings of sunrise, sunset, and the entire day’s favorable and unfavorable periods. February 25 falls on a Wednesday, a day marked by significant auspicious yogas.

On this day, the Siddhi Yoga will be effective throughout, making it highly favorable for all types of auspicious activities, including new beginnings, business ventures, marriages, mundan ceremonies, housewarmings, and other important tasks. Additionally, being a Wednesday, special significance is given to the worship of Lord Ganesha and the planet Mercury.

According to the Drik Panchang, the eighth date of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Phalgun will last until 4:51 AM on February 25, after which the ninth date will commence. The Rohini Nakshatra will be in effect until 1:38 PM, followed by Mrigashira. The Vishkambha Yoga and Balav Karan will last until 3:45 PM, after which the Kaulav Karan will take over. The Moon will transit through Taurus. Sunrise is at 6:50 AM, and sunset will occur at 6:18 PM.

Discussing auspicious timings, the Siddhi Yoga will be effective all day Wednesday, making it an excellent day for good deeds. Ravi Yoga will be in effect from 1:38 PM until 6:49 AM on February 26. Brahma Muhurta, considered the best time for worship, meditation, and study, will be from 5:10 AM to 6:00 AM. Amrit Kaal will occur from 10:38 AM to 12:08 PM, while Vijay Muhurta will be from 2:29 PM to 3:15 PM.

On the other hand, inauspicious timings include Rahukal from 12:34 PM to 2:00 PM, during which auspicious activities are discouraged. Yamgand will be from 8:16 AM to 9:42 AM, and Gulik Kaal will be from 11:08 AM to 12:34 PM. Durmuhurta will occur from 12:11 PM to 12:57 PM, and Jwalamukhi Yoga will be from 6:50 AM to 1:38 PM. It is advisable not to undertake any new or auspicious tasks during these times.
