New Delhi, May 11: The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 50 contractual positions across various departments at its hospital in Okhla. This announcement is significant for professionals in the medical field.
The recruitment includes 33 positions for Senior Residents, distributed as follows: 5 in Anesthesiology with ICU, 1 in the Chest Department, 3 in Obstetrics, 1 in Microbiology, 2 in Ophthalmology, 1 in Orthopedics, 1 in Pathology, 6 in Pediatrics with NICU, 2 in Radiology, 5 in Surgery, 2 in Cardiology, 1 in Medical Oncology, 1 in Nephrology, 1 in Gastroenterology, 1 in Endocrinology, and 3 in the Accident and Emergency Department.
Additionally, there are 8 Specialist positions available: 1 in the Chest Department, 4 in the Medicine Department, 1 in Pathology, and 2 in Radiology. The recruitment also includes 6 Super Specialist positions in Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, and Rheumatology.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or diploma in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution, along with an MBBS degree and 2 years of experience, including 1 year in the relevant specialty. Alternatively, candidates with an MBBS degree and a postgraduate degree/diploma with 3 to 5 years of experience, or those with an MD/MS/DNB along with DM/MCh/DNB in super specialty are also eligible. Relevant eligibility criteria for each position must also be met.
The maximum age limit for Senior Resident positions is set at 45 years, calculated as of May 19. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations. For Specialist and Super Specialist positions, the maximum age limit is 69 years, calculated as of May 20.
Selection will be based on a walk-in interview and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹67,700 to ₹2,40,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.
The walk-in interviews for Senior Resident positions are scheduled for May 19, while those for Specialist and Super Specialist positions will take place on May 20 at the ESIC Hospital, Okhla, New Delhi. Candidates are required to report between 9 AM and 11 AM.
Candidates attending the interview must bring a hard copy of their application form, along with original documents such as matriculation certificate, age proof, caste certificate, MBBS degree, diploma/degree certificates, experience certificates, and two recent passport-sized photographs. A residence proof is also required.
Candidates must pay the registration fee, which is ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/PH and female candidates are exempt from this fee. Interested candidates can register on the day of the interview at the specified location.
