Noida, August 13: In anticipation of Independence Day, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police has heightened security measures across the region. Under the direction of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, special checking operations are being conducted at public places, metro stations, malls, and crowded areas in Noida.
As part of this initiative, police officials in the Sector 20 area have conducted extensive security checks with bomb squads, dog squads, and local police forces. During the operation, DCP Noida Saad Mia Khan supervised the inspections alongside ADCP Noida Manisha Singh and ACP-1 Noida Praveen Kumar Singh.
The police teams are closely monitoring suspicious activities at metro stations, malls, and nearby crowded areas. They have conducted checks on individuals and vehicles in public spaces, assessing critical security points. The presence of bomb squads and dog squads has facilitated the examination of suspicious objects and locations.
Police officials have provided essential guidelines to the officers and staff on duty regarding security protocols. They emphasized that any negligence ahead of Independence Day will not be tolerated, and immediate action will be taken in response to any suspicious activities.
During the checking operations, directives were issued for thorough investigations of suspicious individuals and vehicles. Additionally, effective action will be taken against those violating regulations. The police have been instructed to monitor the activities of people in public spaces and maintain heightened vigilance at sensitive locations.
To strengthen security, PCR and PRV vehicles will be continuously patrolling the area. Officials have directed police personnel to keep an eye on law and order through regular patrolling and respond promptly to any emergencies.
