DRDO Employee Found Hanging in Jharkhand: A Tragic Incident Unfolds

Mumbai, May 19: A tragic incident has occurred in Ramgarh district, Jharkhand, where the body of Kamal Kishore Mahto, an employee of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), was discovered hanging from a tree near his home on Tuesday morning.

Kamal Kishore, who was stationed in Bengaluru, had returned to his ancestral village on leave since April 19.

Family members revealed that Kamal Kishore had been experiencing severe mental stress and depression in recent days. He frequently complained about insomnia and was visibly troubled by his condition.

Local villagers reported seeing him walking alone in the village around 11 PM on Monday night. When his family awoke around 2 AM and found him missing from his bed, they were alarmed. Concerned for his safety, they searched for him throughout the night, but the darkness hindered their efforts.

On Tuesday morning, when relatives and villagers resumed their search, they found his body hanging from a tree on a nearby hill. Kamal Kishore leaves behind a wife and two young sons, aged six and four. The entire Bhuiyan Tola community is now engulfed in mourning.

Upon receiving the news, police from the Patratu station arrived promptly at the scene, retrieved the body, and initiated necessary paperwork before sending it for post-mortem at the Sadar Hospital. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently underway.
