Dhaval Patel Launches Strong Attack on Congress Over Remarks on Gujarat

New Delhi, April 8: BJP MP Dhaval Patel has launched a fierce attack on Congress and its leaders. He claims that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent comments about Gujarat and its people were not a mistake or a “slip of the tongue,” but rather a deliberate and strategic statement. Patel emphasized that this is not the first time Congress leaders have insulted the people of Gujarat.

Patel stated that in Kerala, Kharge intentionally made remarks labeling Gujaratis as uneducated and foolish. He pointed out that such derogatory statements have been made by Congress before, including in Assam and Uttar Pradesh. According to Patel, these comments not only insult Gujaratis but also tarnish the contributions of great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He noted that Gujarat played a crucial role in India’s independence, yet Congress seems to disregard this and attempt to belittle the state.

He accused Congress leaders of trying to spread confusion and a negative message among the people of Gujarat and the nation. The strategy appears to be aimed at damaging Gujarat’s image to strengthen Congress’s political grip. Patel asserted that Congress’s intentions will never succeed, as the entire nation is now aware of the party’s true face.

The MP also mentioned that the people of Gujarat will not tolerate this insult and have begun to voice their opposition against Congress. As the reality of Congress becomes evident in Gujarat, awareness will grow across India. Patel stressed that no one can underestimate the strength and contributions of Gujaratis, and Congress’s tactics will ultimately prove ineffective.

Notably, people from Gujarat protested outside the Congress headquarters, opposing the allegedly offensive comments made by President Mallikarjun Kharge regarding Gujarat and its residents. During the protest, one demonstrator remarked, “Gujaratis are educated and hardworking, which is why they are successful. Those who speak ill of Gujaratis are mistaken. They are educated and contribute to the nation’s progress.”
