Delhi Police Foil Gang War Plot, Arrest Two Notorious Criminals with Weapons

Delhi police apprehended two criminals linked to a gang, preventing a potential gang war in the capital.

New Delhi, October 29 (Daily Kiran) : The Special Cell of Delhi Police has successfully thwarted a gang war plot, arresting two notorious criminals in the process. Authorities apprehended Rahul Sharma, also known as Pachpach, aged 31, and Gautam, known as Bounsar, aged 30, in the Rani Khera area of Delhi. The police seized two .32 caliber pistols, eight live cartridges, a Mahindra XUV300 car, and two mobile phones from the suspects.

According to police reports, both men are established criminals from the Prem Nagar area and have been implicated in serious offenses including murder, attempted murder, and robbery. The Special Cell received intelligence indicating that Sharma and Gautam were traveling from Rohtak to Delhi to carry out an attack against a rival gang led by Amit Mann.

Under the direction of Inspector Saminder Singh Gill, a police team set up a trap near the Rani Khera bus depot on October 20, 2026. The officers stopped their black car and arrested the suspects.

During interrogation, it was revealed that the duo intended to attack members of the Amit Mann gang. The Special Cell noted that the accused used illegal firearms to assert dominance in the area and intimidate rival gangs.

Rahul Sharma has a lengthy criminal history, with nine cases registered against him, including murder and robbery. He had been banished from Delhi for a year by the Rohini district administration on March 22, 2026, yet was found back in the city. Gautam, who runs a Chinese food shop in Prem Nagar, has 14 criminal cases against him.

Police stated that the suspects frequently organized themselves into gangs, armed with illegal weapons, to plan attacks on rival groups. Investigations are ongoing to uncover more about their associates and the broader criminal network. The timely action by the police has potentially averted a serious gang conflict in the capital.
