During the event, Chief Minister Gupta emphasized that this initiative is an inspiring effort dedicated to honoring women’s leadership and their contributions to society. She stated that women in today’s India are not only the foundation of families and communities but are also emerging as strong partners in nation-building.

Gupta highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, women are taking on leadership roles at the highest levels and excelling in fields such as science, administration, entrepreneurship, education, sports, and defense.

The Chief Minister further noted that the strength, sensitivity, and leadership capabilities of women can guide society toward a new direction. She added that this day is not only an opportunity to celebrate women’s achievements but also a moment to reaffirm the commitment to providing them with more opportunities, security, and respect.

Approximately 3,000 women from various sectors participated in the Shakti Walk. This included women from the armed forces, police, health services, sports, and government institutions, as well as grassroots workers like Anganwadi and ASHA workers.

The event brought together female representatives from over 150 ministries, departments, and organizations on a shared platform. Special 2D and 3D installations were set up along Kartavya Path to showcase women’s contributions, with themes such as ‘She Inspires India,’ ‘She Connects India,’ ‘She Governs India,’ ‘She Innovates India,’ ‘She Empowers India,’ and ‘She Nourishes India,’ highlighting women’s achievements and roles across various fields.
