Delhi Celebrates Dussehra with Unique Effigy Burning, Minister Critiques Political Chaos

New Delhi, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : During the Dussehra festivities in New Delhi, a unique event unfolded as an effigy of a cockroach was burned alongside the traditional effigy of Ravana. Minister Kapil Mishra commented on this unusual act, stating that while the cockroach effigy was set ablaze, it was the termites that felt the pain. He described the cockroach as a symbol of chaos, terrorism, and corruption, representing a coalition of those who conspire against democracy, the mandate, and the Constitution.

Mishra expressed concerns about individuals who dream of creating a situation in India akin to that of France, aiming to disrupt public order through protests and violence. He emphasized that the public has repeatedly thwarted such conspiracies throughout history.

Meanwhile, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak extended warm wishes to the citizens on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami. He highlighted Dussehra as a celebration of the victory of good over evil and truth over falsehood, a tradition deeply rooted in Sanatan culture. Pathak urged people to recognize those who speak against this culture and merely pretend to uphold it. He called for unity in following the ideals of Lord Ram and strengthening Uttar Pradesh.

In New Delhi, BJP National General Secretary Smriti Irani expressed gratitude to families participating in the Ram Leela celebrations. She noted that the event attracted not only devotees of Lord Ram and followers of Sanatan Dharma but also those who prioritize India above all. Irani underscored that Indian values and culture are the nation’s greatest strengths and hailed the turnout at the Ram Leela as a testament to respect for Indian traditions.

She prayed for the prosperity and health of all families, stating that the values of Maryada Purushottam Ram inspire individuals to follow the right path in life.
