Ranchi, September 21 (Daily Kiran) : Congress leader Rajesh Thakur has reacted to recent statements made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding Rahul Gandhi, as well as remarks from Asaduddin Owaisi about political alliances.
In a discussion, Thakur stated that Adityanath’s comments were on target, particularly regarding women’s respect. He challenged the Chief Minister to ask the Prime Minister how much respect has been given to women in their homes.
Thakur continued, asserting that while the Prime Minister engages in public displays of affection, Rahul Gandhi’s statements should be taken seriously. “Whenever Rahul Gandhi speaks, it warrants consideration,” he emphasized.
Regarding Owaisi’s comments about potential alliances, Thakur noted that decisions on alliances will be made by the parties involved. “The answer to what both parties will decide will come in due time,” he added.
On Adityanath’s remarks about former Vice President Hamid Ansari, Thakur suggested that the Chief Minister should focus on maintaining the dignity of his office before advising others on respect. He pointed out the importance of understanding one’s actions as a state leader.
Thakur also commented on Om Prakash Rajbhar’s statements, suggesting that the response should come from Dattatreya Hosabale, as there seems to be a disconnect between what Rajbhar and his ministers are saying. He urged them to clarify who is truly spreading the poison of caste division.
Thakur’s insights reflect a growing discourse on political accountability and respect among leaders in India.
