Beijing, April 4: A press conference was held on April 3 in China’s capital, Beijing, to announce the China Media Group (CMG) Film Culture Carnival. This event will take place from April 15 to 19 in Ningbo, located in the southeastern province of Zhejiang.
The press conference provided insights into the carnival’s themes and new features. Leveraging the experience-based economy, the event will focus on “Cinema Culture,” “Film Industry Culture,” and “Film Plus Cultural Tourism.” Five innovative activity sections will be introduced, aimed at creating a comprehensive film culture festival and promoting the integrated development of the “Film Plus” industry.
According to the information shared, the five activity sections will include “Promotion of Cinema Culture and Exemplary Models from the Industry,” “Reel View, Real Journeys,” “Enjoying Movies Together on Weekends,” “Experiencing Film Industry Production,” and “Enjoying Intangible Cultural Heritage through Films.”
These activities will enhance understanding and awareness of China among both domestic and international audiences. Attendees will enjoy a holistic experience, ranging from online viewing to offline interactions, while also increasing awareness of China’s intangible cultural heritage.
The press conference was attended by representatives from CMG, as well as guests from various sectors, including the China Literary and Art Circles Association, the National Film Administration, and the China Film Association.
