New Delhi, March 29: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his happiness over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s acknowledgment of Arun Kumar, a resident of Meerut, as a beneficiary of the ‘PM Solar Home: Free Electricity Scheme.’ He emphasized that this recognition reflects the visionary approach of Prime Minister Modi, enabling individuals like Arun to write new stories of economic self-reliance.
In a post on the social media platform X, Chief Minister Adityanath stated, “The mention of Arun Kumar from Meerut, who has become an ‘energy provider’ through the ‘PM Solar Home: Free Electricity Scheme’ during Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, is a matter of joy for every resident of the state.”
He further added, “Thanks to Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership, many like Arun are not only saving on electricity bills but are also generating surplus energy, contributing to economic independence. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you, Prime Minister, for transformative initiatives like the ‘PM Solar Home: Free Electricity Scheme’ that illuminate every home.”
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi remarked during the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, “If you visit any small or large town in the country today, you will certainly notice a change. You will see a significant number of homes equipped with solar panels. Just a few years ago, this was only visible in a handful of houses. But now, the impact of the ‘PM Solar Home Free Electricity Scheme’ is evident across the nation.”
During this discussion, PM Modi highlighted Arun Kumar’s example, stating, “Arun Kumar from Meerut has now become an energy provider in his area. Recently, he participated in an event in Delhi where he shared his experiences. He mentioned that he is not only saving on his electricity bills but is also selling his surplus electricity.”
