CJP Founder Abhijit Dipke Remembers Imprisoned Colleagues in Emotional Message

Abhijit Dipke expresses heartfelt sentiments for imprisoned CJP members Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, urging their swift return.

New Delhi, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : Abhijit Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach People’s Party (CJP), took to social media to share an emotional message about his imprisoned colleagues, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. He expressed his deep longing for their return, marking the sixth day of their incarceration.

In his heartfelt post, Dipke addressed Saurav and Ashutosh directly, saying, “I cannot express how much I miss you both. Over the last three months, I became accustomed to your frequent, albeit sometimes troubling, calls and messages. I often ignored or postponed them, knowing that you both would manage things in my absence, as you always have.”

He acknowledged that while many may see him as the face of CJP, the reality is that Saurav and Ashutosh have been the driving force behind the organization. “CJP may have started with me, but it is your dedication, intelligence, and courage that have brought it to where it is today,” Dipke wrote.

Dipke emphasized that without the contributions of Ashutosh and Saurav, CJP would not have achieved even half of its current success. He lamented that people do not fully appreciate their sacrifices and commitment to the movement, often without seeking credit in return. He expressed a heartfelt wish for their release, stating, “Today is your last day in custody, and all I want is for you both to come back to us. Nothing else matters to me right now.”

He also extended his apologies to their families for the pain and uncertainty they have endured. Dipke recognized that his words cannot change their circumstances but hoped they could find solace in his support. “I miss your constant calls and messages. I just want to hear that phone ring again. Come back soon, my brothers,” he concluded.

Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were detained on October 13 for allegedly entering Jantar Mantar and raising the national flag. Following their arrest, they were presented in court and subsequently sent to jail.
