China Seeks Enhanced Cooperation with Russia and India

Beijing, June 8: The spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Lin Qian, held a regular press conference on Monday. During this event, the spokesperson emphasized that China, Russia, and India are all emerging economic powers. Maintaining strong relations is not only in the interests of these three nations but also beneficial for regional and global peace, security, stability, and prosperity. China aims to strengthen cooperation with Russia and India through continued engagement.

Meanwhile, the European Union has recently encouraged related countries to reduce their so-called ‘dependence on China.’ In response, spokesperson Lin Qian stated that China has repeatedly highlighted the deep integration and mutual dependence between China and Europe in industrial and supply chains. This relationship is a result of economic globalization and the market’s role, aligning with the interests of enterprises from both sides. The economic and trade relationship between China and Europe is not a zero-sum game. Both can achieve mutual success and benefits.

China’s approach to resolving economic differences with Europe is open and proactive. It is hoped that Europe will work through dialogue and consultation to address issues with China, thereby enhancing the development of China-Europe economic cooperation.
