Poonch, August 13: A vibrant ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ rally was organized by the Jiya Ul Uloom Higher Secondary School in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday. Over a thousand students and teachers participated in this event. The school principal and several students shared their experiences with a news agency during the rally.
Principal Wahid Ahmed stated, “We organized the tricolor rally with the participation of a thousand children. The rally was flagged off by the school and traversed various areas of the city before returning to the school. The main purpose of this rally was to instill a sense of patriotism in our children and foster love for the nation. I believe we have been quite successful in this endeavor.”
He further mentioned that the government has mandated various programs in schools from August 10 to 17. In light of this directive, the school is conducting events both internally and externally.
“We aim to convey to the public that this country belongs to us, and we must work together for its progress. National interest is our top priority. I urge the residents of Poonch to participate in this rally and contribute to the country’s development. Everyone is working collectively in this direction. We received an award for securing the first position, and I would like to thank the district administration for this recognition. This achievement is a result of our collective efforts. Such activities require the participation of everyone to elevate our nation’s name. We want to teach our children that India is our homeland, and loving our country is part of our faith. We must inform them about the sacrifices made by our elders for our freedom, so they grow up to be loyal citizens of the country.”
Student Ibrahim Mahmood expressed, “We are trying to do something different as Jamia students. We are proud to have organized this tricolor rally. It was held from the city to the school. Such campaigns are essential as they convey the message that the younger generation has a spirit of patriotism. We organized this rally in Poonch with that spirit. I want to encourage people to participate in this campaign and engage in government initiatives to show that we are also proud Indians.”
Another student, Syed Mohsin Ali, also shared his thoughts on the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign. He said, “Our school organized the tricolor rally, which included students, the principal, and other staff. This rally stretched from Poonch city to our school.”
