Chief Minister Yogi to Inaugurate Mahant Nritya Gopal Dass Birth Anniversary in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, June 18: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will arrive in Ayodhya on Friday to inaugurate the birth anniversary celebrations of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the president of the Ram Temple Trust. This information was shared by Mahant Kamal Nayan Das in a conversation with a news agency.

Preparations for the event are complete, as the Chief Minister’s visit is highly anticipated. Dr. Dinesh Sharma will also attend the inauguration, along with several other dignitaries. The nine-day event has generated significant excitement among devotees.

During the celebrations, a Ram Katha will be organized, along with the Shri Ram Mahayajna. Additionally, a Ram Path will take place, which has sparked enthusiasm among the devotees.

Mahant Kamal Nayan Das mentioned that various activities will be held during this special occasion, including the distribution of medicines to patients. Several programs for devotees are also planned, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.

Mahant Nritya Gopal Das hails from Mathura and was born into a Brahmin family. He currently serves as the president of the Ram Temple Trust and has previously held the position of president of the Krishna Bhoomi Trust.

He completed his early education in Mathura before beginning his spiritual journey towards Ayodhya, where he received initiation under Mahant Ram Manohar Das. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das played a crucial role in the construction of the Ram Temple.

In 1965, at just 27 years old, he was bestowed with the title of Mahant in Ayodhya. Prior to this, he earned a Shastri degree by enrolling in a Sanskrit school in Varanasi.
