Chhattisgarh Government Supports Landless Agricultural Workers with Financial Aid

Raipur, March 26: The Chhattisgarh government has fulfilled another significant promise under ‘Modi’s Guarantee.’ To provide financial support to landless agricultural worker families, the government is transferring an annual sum of ₹10,000 directly into their bank accounts through the Deendayal Upadhyay Landless Agricultural Workers Welfare Scheme. Landless workers praised this initiative on Thursday.

In Dhamtari district, over 23,000 beneficiaries have received more than ₹33 crore directly deposited into their accounts under this scheme. This financial assistance has brought joy to landless worker families. Workers expressed their gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, stating that the government has taken concrete steps to empower their lives.

This scheme is a significant initiative by the Chhattisgarh government, aimed at strengthening the economic status of landless agricultural worker families and enhancing their livelihoods. Eligible families receive regular financial aid of ₹10,000 annually, which improves their living standards and boosts their social and economic self-reliance.

The BJP had promised to provide ₹10,000 annually to landless agricultural workers after coming to power, a commitment now being realized. Beneficiaries noted that whatever promise the Modi government makes, it fulfills without fail.

One beneficiary, Sukhlal Netam, shared, “I am landless and do not own any land. I received ₹10,000 under the Deendayal Upadhyay scheme. I am very grateful to Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. This amount has been directly deposited into my bank account.”

Another beneficiary, Khemraj Sahu, stated, “I do not own any land. I applied under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay scheme, and ₹10,000 has been deposited into my account. I sincerely thank the Prime Minister and Chief Minister.”

Pardesi Soni added, “I am a landless worker, but the Modi government at the center has taken great care of many like us. I express my gratitude to the Vishnu Dev government and the Modi government for this scheme.”

Raja Pawar praised the initiative, saying, “I received ₹10,000 under this scheme for the landless. It is very beneficial. I express my special gratitude to the government for such a thoughtful initiative for poor workers like us.”

Workers particularly expressed happiness that the aid was provided during the wedding season and summer months when work is scarce and financial strain is high. This assistance will help meet many of their needs.
