A bomb threat targeting Bhayandar Railway and Police Stations led to heightened security measures and investigations by local authorities.

Bhayandar, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Authorities were thrown into a state of alarm following a bomb threat directed at both the Bhayandar Railway Station and the local police station. The threat was communicated via an email received by the Mira-Bhayandar and Vasai-Virar police headquarters around 3 PM on Wednesday.
The email referenced a person named ‘Vaishali Rumde 9802’ and included the name of a 72-year-old resident, Ujjwala Savarkar, from Virar. It alleged that a man named Rohan Singh claimed his wife, Parvati Singh, had been murdered. The email accused Ujjwala Savarkar and a woman named Ananya Savarkar of being responsible for this alleged crime.
Additionally, the email suggested that a bomb had been brought in from the United States. In response to the severity of the threat, police initiated immediate security checks at the targeted locations and deployed a bomb squad with trained dogs to assist in the search.
During the investigation, the Bolinj police located Ujjwala Savarkar for questioning. They are trying to determine whether she sent the threatening email or if someone else used her name. Ujjwala Savarkar reported to the police that she had lost her mobile phone.
Currently, police are investigating the origin of the email and the identities of Rohan Singh, Parvati Singh, and Ananya Savarkar, along with the claims surrounding the alleged murder. Their objective is to uncover the true motive behind the threat and identify the individual who sent the email.
The incident caused a brief panic at Bhayandar Station, a major transit hub adjacent to Mumbai, frequented by numerous travelers daily.
