Bollywood Stars Celebrate International Womens Day with Heartfelt Tributes

Mumbai, March 8: Every year on March 8, International Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide. This day honors women’s strength, struggles, contributions, and their vital roles in society. The film industry also joined in to express respect and love for women on this special occasion.

Many artists took to social media to salute women, while others reminisced about the special women in their lives.

Actress Huma Qureshi shared images of her various characters, captioning, “I salute all the women who have shaped my stories on screen and inspired life off-screen.”

Meanwhile, writer and actress Twinkle Khanna shared a poignant post, asking people to reflect on when they last told their mothers how much they mean to them.

Actress Rasika Dugal celebrated Women’s Day in her unique style by sharing several pictures from her childhood to the present. She wrote, “Life should have a little wisdom, a lot of love, and a bit of joy. Happy Women’s Day to all women.”

Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, shared a picture of his mother, calling her his first friend and support. He stated, “The first best friend… the first support… my mother is the woman who set an example for every woman in my life. Happy Women’s Day.”

On this special occasion, Saif Ali Khan’s sister Saba Pataudi shared unseen pictures of the women in the Pataudi family. She remarked, “Women do not need a single day to celebrate themselves, as respect for women should be given 365 days a year. A woman’s strength is remarkable, as she endures much and has the ability to multitask on many levels.”

In her post, Saba mentioned her grandmother, mother, sister, and daughters. She particularly praised her sister-in-law and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, stating, “She is not only a fantastic artist but also manages family and home beautifully. My younger sister Soha Ali Khan has carved her own identity through hard work. Every woman is extraordinary. I have learned something from everyone, and I am grateful for their guidance. Women may have different personalities, but they support each other and stand strong as a group.”
