New Delhi, April 6: The 47th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was celebrated on Monday at the party office, attracting a large gathering of workers and officials. National President Nitin Naveen addressed the attendees, highlighting the party’s achievements and future direction.
Nitin Naveen expressed that this is the first Foundation Day he is celebrating as the national president, making it a significant moment for him to share with the party workers. He reflected on his experiences working with the workers from Chandni Chowk during the elections, calling it an emotional moment to be among them today. He emphasized that the Foundation Day is not just a celebration but also a day of commitment, where all workers pledge to advance the party’s ideology.
He paid tribute to the former national presidents and senior leaders, stating that the BJP’s current strong position is a result of the dedication and sacrifices of millions of workers. Established in 1980, the BJP’s ideological roots trace back to the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, which strengthened the spirit of nationalism.
State President Virendra Sachdeva described April 6 as a historic day for Indian politics, asserting that the BJP has provided a new direction to the country’s political landscape. He credited the thoughts of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, along with the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, for laying a strong foundation that has enabled the BJP to become the world’s largest political party today.
During the program, BJP’s co-organization minister Prakash shared his insights, noting that the party continues to set new benchmarks. He mentioned the recent launch of a special campaign for training party workers, aimed at enhancing their ideological commitment and improving their work style.
At the conclusion of the event, all participants reiterated their commitment to a “Developed India” and pledged to strengthen the party further. Everyone exchanged greetings for the Foundation Day.
