Danapur, March 22: Bihar Minister Ramkripal Yadav has responded to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s remarks about the BJP. Yadav asserted that the BJP will make its presence felt in Kerala as well. He emphasized that wherever elections are held in the country, including Bengal, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, the BJP will emerge victorious, leaving no room for doubt.
Highlighting the developmental work under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Yadav stated that development is the BJP’s strongest asset. He criticized the Congress party, claiming that it and its allies have hindered the country’s progress, which will lead to their rejection by the public.
Regarding the recent unseasonal rains and strong winds causing damage to crops in several districts, Agriculture Minister Ramkripal Yadav assured that the government will compensate affected farmers. He noted that reports of significant damage have come from eight districts, and legislators have contacted him to provide updates on the situation. Officials have been instructed to assess the damage promptly and prepare a report.
Once the report is received, disaster management funds will be distributed to farmers through the agriculture department, with payments sent directly to their bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Yadav mentioned that approximately 200 crore rupees have already been disbursed to farmers through this method. Compensation for crop losses has been handled similarly in the past and will continue. He assured that the government stands firmly with the farmers in every circumstance.
BJP leader Shah Nawaz Hussain also countered the Kerala Chief Minister’s statements, suggesting that Vijayan is speaking against the BJP because he knows the party is on the rise. He remarked that the BJP is preparing to take power in Kerala.
Referring to the Kerala Assembly elections, he noted that the BJP’s increasing popularity and recent mayoral election victory have instilled fear in the Congress and Left parties. The public has decided to support the BJP in forming the next government.
