Haldwani, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ramping up its preparations for the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections. As part of this effort, the party’s national president, Nitin Naveen, is visiting the state. On Thursday, he will hold a ‘Youth Dialogue’ program in Haldwani to engage with the Gen-Z demographic.
Naveen is scheduled to start discussions with the youth around 10 AM. Following this, at 11 AM, he will address a ‘Former Soldiers Conference’ at the Vatika Banquet Hall on Nainital Road. Later in the day, at 3 PM, he will head to Rudrapur to participate in a ‘Sikh Pride Conference,’ aimed at reaching various community groups ahead of the elections.
Additionally, a meeting of the party’s state executive committee will be held, attended by current Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand BJP President Mahendra Bhatt, and a total of 597 representatives from across the state.
The BJP is focused on achieving a third consecutive victory in Uttarakhand and is actively preparing for the upcoming elections. Earlier, Naveen addressed an expanded state executive committee meeting in Haldwani, emphasizing that the party draws inspiration from the energy of the region, committing to development and the principle of ‘Nation First.’
During his speech, he highlighted several key issues that the BJP has prioritized in its governance and political agenda. These include improving road connectivity, honoring and supporting soldiers, implementing a Uniform Civil Code (UCC), empowering women, and enhancing welfare measures for the poor under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Naveen remarked, “The air, soil, and mountains of Devbhoomi clearly illustrate why this land is called sacred. The strength and energy it provides extend beyond just our nation. Even Prime Minister Modi draws his true strength from here.”
He reiterated that the BJP’s political and organizational approach is inspired by the ‘Nation First’ principle, which he believes is reflected in the party’s operations and decision-making processes. “For the BJP, it is ‘Nation First,’ ‘Party Second,’ and ‘Self Last,'” he stated, underscoring the party’s commitment to this ethos.
