BJPs Extended State Executive Meeting in Haldwani Targets Congress

Haldwani, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : In Haldwani, Uttarakhand, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held an extended state executive meeting on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The event featured national president Nitin Naveen as the chief guest, alongside Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other senior leaders and party workers.

During his address, Nitin Naveen emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s connection to Uttarakhand and the ongoing development initiatives in the state. He remarked, “From the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway to the Char Dham All-Weather Road, and many other road projects outlined by the Chief Minister, work is progressing successfully. In contrast, during Congress’s tenure, there was little concern for the welfare of people living in these challenging hilly areas.”

Naveen reflected on the vision for the three states—Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Uttarakhand—established by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, stating, “We built these states, and we will nurture them.”

He also noted the Prime Minister’s deep ties to his homeland, saying, “Though Narendra Modi hails from Vadnagar in Gujarat, he chose Varanasi as his karmabhoomi. However, after witnessing his work, I believe his spiritual home, the land that truly connects with his soul, is ‘Devbhoomi’ Uttarakhand. Here, he draws strength and energy to serve the 1.4 billion citizens of the country.”

Naveen highlighted that the very air, soil, and mountains of Uttarakhand convey why this region is referred to as Devbhoomi.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed the national president, expressing, “It is a great honor to have our inspirational leader Nitin Naveen among us today. I extend a warm welcome and congratulations on behalf of everyone here on this sacred land of Uttarakhand. His life is a testament to dedication, discipline, and unwavering loyalty to the organization.”
