Mumbai, April 9: Prominent figures often receive immense love from the public, but they can also face trolling for various reasons. In today’s social media era, memes and trolling affect everyone, from ordinary citizens to high-profile personalities. Recently, actor and BJP MP Ravi Kishan found himself in such a situation.
Following the tragic news of Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s death in a plane crash, a video of Ravi Kishan running through the Parliament complex went viral. In the footage, he appeared flustered while speaking to the media, leading many to troll him. Users criticized his behavior as dramatic and insincere.
Now, Ravi Kishan has openly addressed the video. He shared a podcast clip on his Instagram Stories, where he explained the context behind his actions. He revealed that there was a scheduled meeting in Parliament that day, and with the Prime Minister and President arriving, he needed to be on time. He feared that if he arrived late, it would be evident to everyone present.
“I want to clarify that I was indeed present that day when the news broke about the Deputy CM’s passing. I was rushing to Parliament because a speech was underway. I saw the Prime Minister and President entering, and I realized I was running late. I knew that if I didn’t get inside on time, they would proceed without me, and everyone would notice my tardiness,” he explained.
He added that when the media approached him for comments on the Deputy CM’s death, he inadvertently said something in haste, which subsequently went viral.
Ravi Kishan concluded by stating that significant events in his life always resonate on a national level.
