BJP MP Questions Rahul Gandhis Foreign Trips, Demands Transparency
BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal criticizes Rahul Gandhis foreign travels, seeking clarity on their purpose and funding.

New Delhi, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : In New Delhi, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal has raised questions regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent trip to Vietnam, targeting both Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Khandelwal described Sanjay Raut of the Shiv Sena as a failed leader in Indian politics, criticizing his controversial statements.
Speaking to reporters, Khandelwal asserted that Raut has lost his relevance in the political landscape. He emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the nation and that India is a robust democracy governed by the rule of law. Those who violate the law should be prepared to face the consequences, he added.
Khandelwal specifically questioned the frequency of Rahul Gandhi’s foreign travels, suggesting that the Congress leader spends significant time abroad. He claimed that Gandhi often returns to India to create controversies before departing again for international trips.
The BJP MP called for transparency regarding the objectives of Gandhi’s travels and the nature of his meetings abroad. He demanded that Gandhi disclose details of his foreign trips over the past two to three years, including who he meets and who funds these excursions.
As the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Khandelwal argued that the public has a right to know the purpose and costs associated with Gandhi’s travels.
Responding to Kharge’s statements, Khandelwal suggested that the Congress leader should reflect on his party’s history before making accusations. He pointed out that the Congress has previously engaged in similar actions during its time in power.
Khandelwal also praised the recently signed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and New Zealand, calling it a significant gift from Prime Minister Modi to the business community during the festival of Dussehra. He highlighted that the agreement would allow Indian goods exported to New Zealand to benefit from zero tariffs, enhancing their competitiveness in international markets.
He expressed optimism that this agreement would create new export opportunities for Indian traders, industries, and small artisans, potentially boosting trade activities. Khandelwal extended his gratitude to Modi on behalf of the country’s nearly 90 million traders and wished everyone a happy Vijayadashami.
