New Delhi, March 13: The political landscape in West Bengal is heating up as the assembly elections approach. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are exchanging sharp accusations. While the BJP is conducting a ‘Parivartan Yatra’ to gain power in West Bengal, the TMC asserts that no matter the effort, the BJP will not succeed.
BJP MP Biplab Kumar Deb has accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of being the biggest enemy of Muslims. Speaking to the media in New Delhi, he expressed that it is unfortunate that Banerjee’s true feelings have surfaced in anger. He claimed that she considers Hindus in Bengal as second-class citizens.
Deb questioned how the Chief Minister could assert that if Muslims unite, they would be eliminated in an instant. He condemned her alleged dream of transforming West Bengal into a “Greater Bangladesh,” urging the people of Bengal to recognize her true face. He stated that as she faces electoral defeat, she resorts to threatening Hindus.
The BJP MP emphasized their stance against illegal immigrants, asserting that the right to reside in India belongs to its citizens, not outsiders. He questioned why the TMC is bothered by the BJP’s commitment to removing infiltrators from Bengal. While everyone of all religions has the right to live in the country, he stressed that illegal immigrants do not.
Referencing the United States, he noted that if someone illegally enters America, they are expelled. Other countries also take action against illegal immigrants.
Deb remarked that it is good that Mamata Banerjee’s true nature has been revealed. He mentioned her recent protest against the SIR, labeling it a mere act. He suggested that her protests indicate a lack of substantial work on her part.
In his closing remarks, Biplab Kumar Deb stated that if anyone is the biggest enemy of Muslims, it is Mamata Banerjee, asserting that she will sink along with them.
