New Delhi, April 5: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ally Janata Dal (United) have issued a sharp rebuttal to the remarks made by Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif. BJP leaders have warned that if anyone dares to threaten India, the consequences will be severe. They emphasized that India can strike at any corner of Pakistan whenever it chooses.
BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev stated, “Does Pakistan have the courage to look towards India? During ‘Operation Sindoor’, we struck them right at their homes. Have they forgotten that? Have they also forgotten how we decimated entire families of terrorists? We even destroyed their military bases. Pakistan came to India, pleading to stop the war on our terms.”
Shahdev further asserted, “Pakistan talks about Kolkata, but Kolkata is far beyond their reach. India can attack any part of Pakistan whenever it wishes. India is a peace-loving nation and does not desire war. We never follow a ‘first strike’ policy. If anyone dares to threaten us, we can unleash devastation a hundred times worse than what we did during ‘Operation Sindoor’.”
TR Srinivas, a leader from the BJP’s Telangana unit, also criticized Khawaja Asif’s comments. He warned of a potential ‘Operation Sindoor-2’ against terrorist activities.
Srinivas remarked, “I have seen Pakistan’s comical statement. By talking about an attack on Kolkata, they are merely providing themselves with political cover.” He added that the Indian military is fully prepared and that they will conduct ‘Operation Sindoor-2’ against any terrorists coming from Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Neeraj Kumar, the chief spokesperson for the Janata Dal (United), responded to Asif’s comments, stating, “The statement from Pakistan’s Defense Minister is objectionable. Pakistan should realize that ‘Operation Sindoor’ inflicted a deep wound. India swiftly destroyed terrorist bases within Pakistan in just a few minutes, leaving the Pakistanis speechless.”
