BJP Leaders Criticize Opposition as Uttar Pradesh Election Approaches

BJP leaders in Hyderabad assert the partys strength ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections, criticizing opposition figures and past governance.

Hyderabad, September 25 (Daily Kiran) : BJP leader Madhavi Lata criticized the political legacy of Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav during a recent event in Hyderabad. She expressed confidence that the party would secure victory in the upcoming 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, pledging to campaign for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Lata highlighted past injustices against party supporters, stating, “This isn’t just about the atrocities faced by our volunteers. Have we forgotten how Mulayam Singh Yadav supported bandits? There were numerous instances of violence against tribal communities and coercion for votes. The Samajwadi Party (SP) has oppressed not only our supporters but also ordinary citizens and marginalized groups.”

She further asserted, “In 2027, BJP will win again, and Yogi Adityanath will continue as Chief Minister while Akhilesh Yadav will be left watching from the sidelines. Many of us will work hard to ensure BJP’s success in Uttar Pradesh.”

On the friendship between Chief Minister Revant Reddy and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Lata remarked, “AIMIM leaders play different roles for various parties. This is the true nature of politics. They may forge relationships, but they should not think that these ties will guarantee their victory. Such alliances often serve merely for political convenience.”

BJP spokesperson Prakash Reddy also criticized the opposition’s response to a statement from the Election Commission. He stated, “Some media outlets may label it investigative journalism, but it is unfortunate that those who do not understand the Constitution’s essence make such remarks. The opposition parties have reacted to an article in the Indian Express, which is regrettable. Article 324 of the Constitution clearly states that the Election Commission operates as a three-member body, and its decisions will reflect the majority opinion.”

BJP leader Bura Narasayya Goud commented on Rahul Gandhi’s recent appearance, saying, “This is not a ‘Students’ Echo’ but a ‘Donkey’s Echo.’ By bringing a caricature onto the stage, Rahul Gandhi has made a mockery of himself as the opposition leader.”

Goud concluded, “It is unfortunate that Congress lacks a mature leader capable of representing the opposition effectively.”
