BJP Leaders Congratulate PM Modi on Historic Achievement in Indian Democracy

New Delhi, June 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a record as India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister. This historic milestone has drawn congratulations from BJP leaders, public representatives, and individuals from various sectors, who praised his leadership.

BJP spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sudhanshu Trivedi described this day as significant in the history of Indian democracy. He stated that PM Modi has established a new benchmark for the longest tenure as an elected Prime Minister in independent India. Under his leadership, India has achieved a new identity, direction, and heights. He prayed for PM Modi’s long life, strength, and capability to fulfill the vision of a developed India.

Responding to statements from Congress, Sudhanshu Trivedi clarified that Jawaharlal Nehru did not take the oath of office for the first time on August 15, 1947. Instead, he was appointed as the head of the interim government by Lord Wavell under the Cabinet Mission Plan on September 2, 1946, during which he took the oath.

BJP MLA Anil Kumar Sharma also hailed PM Modi’s achievement as historic. He noted that completing 12 years in office makes PM Modi one of the country’s most popular leaders, a matter of pride for the entire nation. He mentioned that BJP workers, along with ordinary citizens and millions in temples across the country, have prayed for the Prime Minister’s long life and good health.

Professor Dr. Khursheed Anwar Armaan, a member of the Bihar Madrasa Board, praised PM Modi’s leadership, stating that he has made history and brought India to a level previously unattained. Under PM Modi’s guidance, India’s reputation and influence on the international stage have continuously grown.

Meanwhile, Dr. Priyanka Maurya, a member of the Uttar Pradesh Women’s Commission, remarked that PM Modi has earned a special place in the hearts of the people through his actions. She noted that every BJP worker draws inspiration from his working style. Citizens are benefiting from various schemes, services, and relief, which is why the BJP continues to advance and strengthen its support among the populace.
