BJP Leaders Accuse Opposition of Attempting a Coup Amid Rally Controversy
BJP leaders claim the oppositions recent actions indicate a desire for political upheaval, urging vigilance to protect democracy.

New Delhi, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : BJP leader Rohan Gupta recently criticized the opposition during a rally at Ramleela Maidan in New Delhi, referencing a sting operation conducted by a private TV channel. He asserted that the operation was merely a pretext, with the real intent being a coup against the current government. Gupta claimed that anti-national elements were involved and called for an investigation to uncover the truth. He emphasized the need for vigilance to safeguard democracy.
In a conversation, Gupta urged the opposition to recognize that attempting a coup would not win them the hearts of the public. Gaining public support requires hard work, something he believes the opposition is unwilling to undertake.
Gupta specifically addressed the Punjab Congress, stating they should apologize to the people of Punjab for holding a rally on November 1, the same day associated with their past failures. He encouraged Congress to seek forgiveness from the public, highlighting their poor performance in states like Karnataka and Telangana. He expressed confidence that the voters in Punjab would only support those with a proven track record, criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress for their failures in governance.
Labeling Congress as a “Bhimasur,” Gupta claimed that any alliance with them guarantees defeat. He pointed to Congress’s role in undermining the RJD in Bihar during elections, suggesting that their actions have consistently harmed their allies’ political futures.
BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi responded to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi‘s remarks about regime change, noting that those who continuously plot to destabilize the government are losing relevance. He stated that the public has already rejected these attempts, and their desperation is evident.
Naqvi praised the Uttar Pradesh government for restoring order, contrasting it with previous administrations that allowed criminals to operate freely. He commended the strict measures taken against lawbreakers under the current government, which he believes has fostered safety and harmony in society.
Meanwhile, VHP General Secretary Surendra Jain remarked on the peaceful nature of political transitions in India, asserting that the public has the power to remove even the most powerful rulers. He dismissed any notions of chaos similar to that in Bangladesh or Nepal, insisting that such scenarios would not unfold in India.
On the other hand, AITC MP Kirti Azad described the India Block rally in Delhi as historic, claiming its success forced senior government ministers to engage with the public. He noted widespread opposition to the current government across the nation, highlighting the participation of various leaders in protest marches.
