BJP Leader Gaurav Vallabh Predicts Congress Will Face Major Setback in Assam and West Bengal Elections

New Delhi, April 9: BJP leader Gaurav Vallabh has launched a sharp attack on opposition parties regarding the upcoming assembly elections in Assam and West Bengal. He asserted that Congress will be reduced to single-digit seats in Assam, while Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC) will lose power in West Bengal on May 4.

In an interview with a news agency in New Delhi, Vallabh responded to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent statements. He criticized Kharge for using derogatory language towards the people of a state, questioning the appropriateness of such remarks from the leader of a national party. Vallabh claimed that Congress is heading towards its worst electoral defeat in history across five states, stating, “They say to pray after the prayer, first crush them. What kind of language is this?”

Vallabh predicted that Congress would remain with only single-digit legislators in Assam. He accused Congress members of resorting to abusive language out of desperation and inciting violence against people of other religions. He questioned the kind of language Kharge was using.

Regarding the West Bengal elections, he compared Mamata Banerjee’s behavior to that of Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar, suggesting that she would face a similar fate. He claimed that the BJP is poised to form its first government in Bengal, asserting, “Mamata will be gone from Bengal on May 4.”

In response to Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav’s criticism of the central government’s foreign policy, Vallabh suggested that Yadav should only comment on matters he understands. He questioned Yadav’s qualifications in foreign policy, emphasizing that India’s policy prioritizes national security and the safety of millions.

On the issue involving Pawan Khera, Vallabh stated that Rahul Gandhi and his family must be aware that Khera was provided with fake documents, which he allegedly used to make serious accusations against a woman regarding three passports. Vallabh challenged Khera’s credibility, asking why he was hiding if he was truthful.

He concluded by stating that Congress has committed the sin of attempting to influence the elections inappropriately, implicating the party’s top leadership. Legal action will be taken against Pawan Khera, and he will have to surrender to the law.
